"The Devil's Sooty Brother". This project is a zine I created for a school assignment, illustrating one of Grimm's fairy tales: "Čertův začouzený bratr" (The Devil's Sooty Brother). My goal was a Bilderbuch where illustrations drive the narrative with minimal text. The tale features a soldier working for the devil in hell for seven years—a story of resilience and deserved reward. I worked exclusively with two colors, printed via RISO technique, emphasizing a minimalist approach to convey atmosphere through strong imagery.
